The rocketlabusa.com website (website) is owned by Rocket Lab USA, Inc and/or its New Zealand subsidiary Rocket Lab Limited (us).   By accessing, browsing and/or using the website, you agree to these terms of use (as amended from time to time). 

Supply Chain Commitment

Rocket Lab USA is committed to sourcing components and materials from companies that share our values regarding respect for human rights, integrity, and environmental responsibility. Rocket Lab will soon be in compliance with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, as well as the applicable requirements of Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act, which aims to prevent the use of 3TG minerals (gold, tin, tantalum, and tungsten) that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or in adjoining countries.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the website including content, graphics and copyright works are owned by us or our content providers.  We exclusively own all rights in the compilation, design and layout of the website. 

You may access, view and print the content on the website provided that you only use that content for your personal use or otherwise in relation to using or considering our services.

You must obtain our written permission to copy, reproduce or publish any of the content (including graphics, videos, photographs or other copyright works) on the website. If you wish to do so, please email your request to media@rocketlabusa.com.

Provision of Information and Privacy

You are not required to provide personal information to us.  In some instances, if you choose not to provide personal information we will not be able to make certain content available to you (such as updates).

If you provide information to us, you will ensure that such information is accurate and complete.

We collect the personal information provided to us and may use it for communicating with you, statistical analysis, and research and development.

We do not generally disclose personal information to third parties for use for their own purposes.  In some instances we may do so, including to affiliates or providers who complete transactions or perform services on our behalf, or if we’re required to by law.

Any personal information you provide to us may be stored on our providers’ secure servers.  This may involve transferring your information to countries which have less legal protection for personal information than the countries in which you or we are based.

We may also collect technical data and related information when you access or log on to the website.  This may include information about your computer/tablet/mobile phone and the way users arrive at, browse or interact with the website. We may collect this information through the use of cookies or other means.  If you want to disable cookies, you can do so by changing your browser settings, although this may alter the functionality of the website.  We use the technical information collected to have a better understanding of how people use the website and how we might improve it.

We make no representation or warranty that the website is current or that the content satisfies the laws of all countries.  You are responsible for ensuring that your access to and use of the website is not illegal and for your compliance with applicable local laws.

You acknowledge and agree that your use of the website is at your sole risk.  The website may not always be available or some functions may be temporarily unavailable.  We will not be liable to you in respect of any inability to access or use the website at any time.

The website may contain links to third party websites that have not been created by and are not controlled by us.  We do not check, endorse, approve, agree with or take responsibility for any third party websites, their content, operations, products or operators.

Jurisdiction and Governing Law

The website and all related content have been created in accordance with the requirements of New Zealand law.  If any sort of dispute arises in relation to these terms or your use of the website, this will be governed by New Zealand law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand Courts.

CCTV Privacy Policy Notice
Rocket Lab has installed Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras at its sites to monitor for any unwanted or unsafe activity. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, Rocket Lab must ensure that these CCTV cameras do not unnecessarily impede on our visitors’ privacy.

A CCTV privacy policy is available in hard copy format from our Mount Wellington site, outlining the governance of the collection, use and disclosure of images captured by CCTV cameras.
