About The Role
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for an experienced HR manager to drive positive change in a Kiwi start-up that has gained significant recognition across the globe.
Right from day one you will notice our ‘all-hands-on-deck’ culture. This can be seen in our CEO working on a launch component alongside a fitter and turner, a promising graduate leading their first project, and whole teams reshuffling their workload to ensure critical path is met. As a key enabler of this culture, you will be involved in all aspects of HR practices at the high level as well as the details, and will drive positive change that will see employee engagement skyrocket.
Well known for your ability to quickly develop authentic relationships, you’ll be a coach and a role model to new and experienced managers. Your advanced ER knowledge will be key to ensuring our HR practices are fair and consistent across the board. On the L&D side, you’ll be overflowing with ideas of how to unlock the potential of our team of highly skilled and passionate engineers throughout New Zealand and the US.
You will partner with the CEO and senior management team to advise on the best courses of action, and ensure the company strategy is accessible at every level of the organisation. Experience managing and developing your own team is essential as you lead a proactive team. Your strong financial acumen and hands on experience with start-ups will see you making sound business decisions in a constantly evolving environment.
To land this role you will need:
- 8+ years HR generalist experience
